I started Still Water Lactation because I believe every mother deserves a peaceful, guided experience with gentle support. I am here to meet you exactly where you are in your feeding journey.

My Story

During those first two weeks with my eldest, I truly felt like walking away from it all. I struggled through the physical pain of engorgement and nursing injuries, all while caring for a baby who was always hungry. I frequently ended up crying on the floor, feeling completely defeated and bearing the painful, toe-curling feeds. Although I had received a brief moment of help in the hospital and attended prenatal classes, none of that prepared me for the actual reality of our struggles.
I spent my days wondering, "Is this how it's supposed to be?" The combination of mom guilt and shifting hormones felt overwhelming, which eventually led me into a season of postpartum blues that lasted for weeks after my baby arrived.

You can expect compassionate, professional care every step of the way. As a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), I provide calm, personalized, and evidence-based support to families throughout North Idaho.

Every family's journey is unique. My role is to walk alongside you with expertise, empathy, and a judgment-free approach, helping you meet your feeding goals while feeling seen, heard, and supported. With more than 10 years of hospital experience as a labor and delivery nurse and providing lactation care, I am passionate about helping families feel confident and supported during this important season of life. Whether you're preparing for your baby's arrival, establishing breastfeeding, or navigating feeding challenges in the early weeks with your 9th baby, you don't have to do it alone.
