My story…
I know.
I almost gave up nursing my first baby within the first 2 weeks. Cracked bleeding nipples and painful engorgement along with clogged ducts and a hungry baby. I found myself in a puddle of tears ready to throw in the towel. My hospital delivery provided 10 minutes of lactation help. Yes, I took the breastfeeding class, but none of it stuck or was able to help me through the challenges I was faced. “Is this how it is supposed to be?” Mom guilt and raging postpartum hormones were the icing on the cake for this new mom and lead me into some postpartum depression for weeks after delivery.
